Computer graphics artist

Job Description

• Understand project requirements and concepts
• Create and modify designs using graphic design software
• Use various techniques to create drafts, models and prototypes
• Produce final design solutions (like IDs, logos, banners, interfaces)
• Pitch creative ideas that enhance projects
• Collaborate with team members to launch projects
• Take on special design tasks to support multiple projects (e.g. color correction)
• Use feedback from leaders to improve work
• Ensure all design projects are completed within deadlines
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools

Qualifications/Requirements

• Portfolio of completed design projects
• Hands-on experience with graphic design software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Coreldraw and InDesign
• Basic knowledge of layout, typography and visual elements
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
• Must have an eye for detail, streamline their ideas, and coordinate colors to fit a particular brand or product line.
• Has knowledge in the different large-format inkjet printers and integrated printer/cutters for printing tarpaulins and stickers.
• BS degree in Information Technology, Visual Arts or relevant qualification.
• Experience in the printing industry is a plus.

• Can start immediately
