Medical Records / Releasing Staff

Clinica Consolacion is seeking a Medical Records / Releasing Staff who is responsible for the secure management, retrieval, and release of medical records and patients' medical results. This role involves providing mobile records services, verifying authorizations, and ensuring strict compliance with data privacy and confidentiality standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical records and medical results release services.
• Retrieve, organize, and release medical records and medical results from EHR systems and physical files to authorized parties.
• Verify requests and authorizations to ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements.
• Safeguard patient information during handling, transport, and release of records.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to records requests and releases.
• Provide professional and courteous assistance to patients and healthcare partners regarding medical records inquiries.
• Comply with clinic policies, data privacy laws, and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• College graduate in healthcare or related field.
• Experience in medical records management and/or use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and healthcare information systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Willing and able to travel to various locations as required.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information.
• Prior experience in a healthcare or medical records role is an advantage.
