About the role
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our Product Management & Development division, where you will play a crucial role in enabling development teams to achieve their full potential.As Scrum Master, you will facilitate the Agile process, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement that supports the successful delivery of innovative technology solutions.
Key responsibilities- Facilitate and coach Scrum teams through daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices
- Identify, escalate and help resolve impediments and blockers that prevent the team from delivering work efficiently and effectively
- Mentor team members on Scrum framework, Agile methodologies and best practices to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-refined, prioritised and communicated clearly to the development team
- Monitor sprint metrics and key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to optimise team velocity and delivery quality
- Support cross-functional collaboration between development teams, stakeholders and other departments to ensure alignment and transparency
- Conduct process improvement initiatives and lead retrospective discussions to drive operational excellence and team satisfaction
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of sprint activities, artefacts and team progress to ensure visibility across the organisation
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification or equivalent Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe)
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or similar Agile coaching role in a product development environment
- Strong understanding of Scrum framework, Agile principles, and various Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Lean
- Proven ability to facilitate meetings, manage group dynamics and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
- Experience working with software development teams or in technology-driven environments
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across teams
- Knowledge of sprint tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management platforms
- Familiarity with software development processes and practices is highly desirable
