Accounting & Finance Manager
EDUCATION:
o Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (CPA is an advantage)
WORK EXPERIENCE:
o Minimum of 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role.
o Extensive knowledge of BIR regulations, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
o Experience in budget planning, financial forecasting, and internal controls.

o Technical Proficiency – Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Establish and enforce internal controls to ensure accuracy and security of financial records.
Ø Ensure full compliance with tax laws (BIR), government regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Ø Coordinate with external and internal auditors for financial audits and compliance checks.
Ø Manage and supervise the entire Finance & Accounting Department, including Accounts Receivable, Collections, Encoders, and Accountants.
Ø Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance, training, and development for the team.
Ø Oversee the hiring process and handle team-related concerns, including performance improvements and resignations.
Ø Review and approve financial statements, budget reports, and expense analyses.
Ø Collaborate with the Finance Supervisor in preparing financial reports and addressing departmental issues.
Ø Prepare and submit the Finance Department’s report to the Management Committee (ManCom), including financial performance, challenges, and action plans.
Ø Oversee the preparation and submission of all BIR reports and tax filings.
Ø Ensure the company’s compliance with corporate tax laws, VAT, withholding taxes, and government-mandated financial requirements.
Ø Address tax audits, penalties, or compliance issues with relevant government agencies.
Ø Develop and monitor the company’s budget plan, ensuring financial sustainability.
Ø Ensure proper tracking and approval of operational expenses and capital expenditures.
Ø Conduct financial forecasting to anticipate and address potential financial challenges.
Ø Oversee purchase orders synchronized by the Sales Team that fall within standard guidelines. Complex or high-value transactions should be escalated to the CFO or President for final approval
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Mondays to Saturdays
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Willing to extend working hours when required
