This role serves as the key finance business partner, ensuring that financial strategies align with business goals and providing leadership in financial decision-making. The Business Finance Manager will work closely with senior management, department heads, and other stakeholders to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering and Financial Support: Act as a strategic finance partner to business unit leaders, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making. Provide proactive financial analysis and guidance to optimize profitability, cost management, and investment opportunities. Support business initiatives by assessing financial viability and identifying value-creation opportunities.
- Budgeting and Financial Planning: Develop, manage, and monitor the business unit’s annual budget and financial forecasts. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against budgeted targets and provide insights to management. Work with department heads to ensure budget alignment with strategic goals and operational needs. Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to drive business growth and efficiency. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Develop financial models to support business decision-making and investment analysis.
- Finance Liaison and Business Support: Serve as the primary finance contact for the business unit, addressing financial inquiries and concerns. Partner with Finance and Risk Management Team, ensuring adherence to financial controls and best practices. Facilitate communication between finance and the business unit to ensure consistency in financial strategies and reporting.
- Proposal and Pricing Review: Provide recommendations on proposal adjustments to optimize profitability and cost efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and drive cost savings initiatives. Support finance transformation initiatives, including automation and process improvement projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various departments including finance, sales, and operations to ensure alignment and accurate cost tracking and reporting.
- Risk Management: Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Audit Support: Work closely with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and support as required.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the status and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop reports to communicate results to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management, business partnering, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Proven ability to provide strategic financial insights and influence business decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks), Dashboard reports and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of financial drivers in a business environment.
- Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop financial talent.
