To ensure the continuous observance of cleanliness and sanitation in the hotel through the strict inspection of hotel rooms and public areas against established housekeeping standards.

1. Inspecting Rooms

• List of rooms that are ready for inspection is obtained from the Telephone Operator.
• Rooms are inspected against set housekeeping standards. All rooms cleaned by Room Attendants are fully inspected.
• Room Attendants are immediately alerted of any deviations from the housekeeping standards.
• Pest Control is informed of pests or evidence of pests in inspected rooms.
• All inspected rooms that are in full compliance with the set housekeeping standards are declared as ready for occupancy by informing the Telephone Operator.

1. Preparing

• Housekeeping Audit Report is prepared per hotel room indicating the results of the inspection and any housekeeping-relevant observations noted during the inspection.
• All Housekeeping Audit Reports are forwarded to the Hotel Supervisor for review.
• Daily Productivity Report is prepared indicating the incurred ratings of Room Attendants and number of rooms inspected per cleaning classification.
• Report is submitted to the Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor for review.
