Motorpool supervisor i (gov)

Job Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the company motorpool
• Monitor the deployment and availability of company vehicles, heavy equipment, and tools.
• Ensure all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, and vehicle registration.
• Perform or supervise basic repairs and coordinate major repairs with external service providers.
• Monitor fuel, oil, and equipment usage, and maintain accurate records.
• Supervise drivers, equipment operators, and mechanics, including their daily work schedules.
• Canvass and purchase spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials when needed.
• Coordinate with suppliers and repair shops for servicing and parts replacement.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and proper use of vehicles and equipment.

• Experience in operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation
• Physical strength and ability to operate equipment for extended periods of time
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a heavy equipment operator training program or apprenticeship
• Experience working in construction, mining, or other related industries
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Atleast 5-10 Years Experience in Heavy Equipment.
