ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Property Accountant supports the monthly close cycle and financial reporting process for a portfolio of multifamily properties. This includes preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, assisting with financial statement drafts, and coordinating with in-house team members.The role is process-driven and requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and RealPage use.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly close activities for multiple properties
- Prepare and post standard journal entries under supervision
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheet items, and intercompany transactions
- Review income statement and GL activity for completeness and accuracy
- Prepare financial statements for both cash and accrual books
- Assist in drafting financial packets for internal review
- Support accounts payable processing, invoice coding reviews and available cash analysis
- Maintain strong documentation and organized working papers
- Identify and flag discrepancies or process gaps
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience supporting U.S. accounting teams
- Familiarity with RealPage or similar property accounting platforms
- Exposure to U.S. GAAP, intercompany activity, and month-end close cycles

ABOUT YOU:
- Expert Accountant + PH CPA required
- Familiarity with RealPage, Appfolio, Yardi, or any similar
- Experience in intercompany activity and month end closings
