Human Resources Intern

Job description:

The intern will gain practical exposure to HR processes while contributing to the efficient delivery of HR services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in recruitment activities such as posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with applicants.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of documents and orientation materials.
• Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR databases ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist in preparing HR reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Preparing onboarding materials using Canva, PowerPoint presentation.
• Provide support in timekeeping, attendance monitoring, and basic payroll-related documentation.
• Assist in processing employee requests such as certificates, endorsements, and other HR documents.
• Support compliance with company policies and labor regulations through proper documentation.
• Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, data encoding, and correspondence.
• Perform other HR-related duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HR principles and employment practices is an advantage.
• Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be proficient in using Canva and other editing tools
• Duration: 600hrs
