Accountant (Australian Accounting) | Hybrid

Join a growing Australian accounting firm and make an impact as an AU Accountant! You’ll handle key tasks like reconciliations, payroll compliance, BAS preparation, and client communication—delivering high-quality work while supporting a dynamic team.

This role is on a Hybrid once a month/1 day a month on-site setup. Our office is located at Eastwood in Libis, Quezon City.

Job Qualifications:

• Tertiary Accounting Qualifications – BS Accountancy
• At least 2yrs of Australian Accounting experience
• Xero software experience required
• Highly proficient in Excel and Outlook

Job Responsibilities:

Preparing work of a high quality in an efficient manner supporting the team in an exciting, growing Australian Accounting firm including:

• Regular bank reconciliation
• Accounts receivable management (including invoicing and debtor chasing, etc)
• Accounts payable management (including disbursements reporting, banking requests, and accounts email monitoring)
• Payroll compliance (Instalment Activity Statement / PAYG, Superannuation, Workcover, Leave monitoring)
• Preparing BAS workpapers and lodgment
• Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss review and providing analysis and workpapers
• Assistance with Government Grants & incentives (EMDG / R&D)
• Direct communication (emails / calls / video calls) with clients
• Month end closing (journals, verifications, accruals, prepayments)
• Practice management and ad-hoc tasks as required
