Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in uncovering insights from complex datasets to drive strategic decision-making, detect fraud, optimize performance, and support data-driven innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply mathematical models to analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and patterns that inform fraud detection, customer behavior, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical models and actionable insights.
  • Perform data cleaning, pre-processing, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis.
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools for regular and ad-hoc data insights using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Support predictive modeling, risk scoring systems, and machine learning initiatives.
  • Document methodologies and present findings in a clear, concise, and impact manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Mathematician in a data-intensive or analytical role.
  • Strong foundation in mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, algorithm development, and optimization techniques.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, R, or similar tools/languages for data analysis and scripting.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets, including data cleaning, normalization, and transformation.
  • Skilled in applying linear algebra, probability theory, and calculus to solve practical data problems.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in high-risk or data-sensitive industries such as fintech, iGaming, e-commerce, or banking is a strong advantage.
