We are a UK-based B2B manufacturing company supplying high-quality products to a wide range of companies. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and highly capable Finance Manager based in the Philippines to independently oversee our financial operations.
Role Overview
The Finance Manager will take full ownership of the company’s financial function, working independently and reporting directly to the UK-based Managing Director. This is a hands-on role suited for someone confident across all areas of accountancy and experienced in supporting the financial needs of a small to mid-sized business.You will use QuickBooks and Odoo as core tools and liaise with our UK external accountants on an ad-hoc basis and during year-end finalisation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all day-to-day financial activities, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, invoicing, payments, and payroll.
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and contribute to UK reporting obligations.
- Liaise with UK external accountants for VAT, statutory filings, and finalising year-end accounts.
- Maintain and improve financial processes using QuickBooks and Odoo.
- Take initiative to identify areas for financial improvement and risk reduction.
- Provide regular financial updates and insights directly to the Managing Director.
- Daily: Financial ‘key indicators’ emailed to the Managing Director.
- Weekly:
- Zoom meeting with the Managing Director (1x per week).
- Cashflow report via email.
- Supplier pay run list report via email.
- Business health check report via email.
- Monthly:
- Payroll report must be sent to external accountants by the 10th of each month.
- Payroll is processed and paid to all employees on the 15th of each month.
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (UK Time)
- 1-hour unpaid lunch break
