BI Qlik Developer

You will work closely with stakeholders across departments to translate business needs into impactful data visualizations and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analytics & Reporting

• Collect, aggregate and analyse data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance.
• Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks and profits of new business initiatives.
• Work with customers to gather specifications for data and report requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and consistency.

1. Data Product Development

• Develop, design and test BI Reports and Dashboards based on user requirements (Qlik Sense tools).
• Effectively translate end-user reporting requirements into functional design documents.
• Document requirements, processes, and solutions clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Development of operational reports and dashboards with a focus on business data insights.
• Maintain and Support Qlik Sense and Qlik Sense Cloud (SaaS)environment.
• Optimize data models and scripts for performance and scalability.
• Assist and support multiple product teams with Qlik reporting questions and issues.

1. Data Visualisation and Data Adoption

• Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement in current operations and display root cause analysis of problems.
• Transform raw data into meaningful visualizations using best practices in data storytelling and user experience
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize adoption and value of BI tools.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor/College Degree in Computer Engineering or relevant course.
• 5+ years’ experience in leading business analysis or process improvements through leveraging key business analysis techniques (SWOT, Decision Modelling, Balanced Scorecard, Prototyping, etc)
• Experience in building and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
• Excellent communication, writing and project management skills with experience leveraging Agile methodologies and practices
• Knowledge and experience in writing basic to intermediate SQL queries
• Exposure and understanding of data warehousing, engineering and ETL methodologies advantageous
• Experienced in application designing, architecting, development and deployment using Qlik Sense. Must be efficient in front-end development and know visualization best practices
• Hands-on experience in Qlik Sense development/ Power BI, dashboarding and data modelling and visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of Qlik Sense Cloud (SaaS).
• Flexible and versatile to adapt to any new environment and work on any project
• Goal-oriented team player with good requirement analysis, interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
