Maintenance Technician - Production

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - PRODUCTION

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role ensures machines operate efficiently, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous production by applying strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and scheduled inspections on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Repair or replace defective machine parts and ensure proper calibration.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production delays.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce failures.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.

Education & Experience Requirement:

• Technical diploma or vocational training in Electro-Mechanics, Industrial Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of machine troubleshooting, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Familiarity with tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
• Safety-conscious mindset with adherence to industry standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.
