Checker/Picker

The Checker / Picker is responsible for ensuring accurate handling of inventory by performing item picking, checking, and monitoring stock levels. This role supports warehouse operations by maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely receiving and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items based on delivery or order requirements
• Check and verify physical inventory against system records or documents
• Assist in receiving incoming deliveries and ensure correctness of quantity and quality
• Prepare and dispatch picked items in a timely and organized manner
• Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, especially in cold storage environments
• Follow company policies on food safety and proper handling procedures

Qualifications:

• At least a High School Graduate or vocational course graduate
• With experience in cold storage warehousing is an advantage
• With background in the food industry is preferred
• Physically fit and able to work in a cold environment
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to be engaged under a project-based employment for a duration of 4 to 6 months
