Finance and Accounting Staff
About the role
We are seeking a talented Finance and Accounting Staff to join our team at Urban Program for Livelihood Finance & Training (UPLIFT) Phils. Microfinance Inc' in Tarlac Central Luzon. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our organisation.
What you'll be doing- Responsible for the day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, as well as other ad-hoc reports as required
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Support the implementation of effective financial controls and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the microfinance industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with accounting software and experience with MS Office applications
