About the role:

Responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The role supports continuous production, minimizes downtime, and ensures compliance with electrical and safety standards..

Core Duties:

1. Electrical Installation & Maintenance– Perform wiring, panel connections, motor controls, and electrical component installation in compliance with safety codes.
2. Troubleshooting & Repairs – Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in machinery, equipment, and utilities to minimize production downtime.
3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance – Conduct scheduled inspections, testing, and servicing of electrical systems to ensure equipment reliability.
4. Safety Compliance – Follow and enforce electrical safety protocols, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), and proper use of PPE during maintenance work.
5. Documentation & Reporting– Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, breakdowns, spare parts usage, and repair histories.

Job Specifications:

1. Education:

• Graduate of Electrical Technology, Industrial Electricity, or related vocational/technical course.
• TESDA NC II/NC III certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance is preferred/required.
• Additional training or certification in industrial controls, PLC, or high-voltage systems is an advantage

1. Experience:

• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing electrical maintenance role.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting motors, panels, MCC (Motor Control Centers), and electrical distribution systems.
• Exposure to preventive and corrective maintenance practices for heavy industrial equipment.
• Experience working with safety standards and electrical codes (e.g., PEC, IEC, or NFPA standards)

1. Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including three-phase power, motor controls, relays, sensors, and transformers.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, blueprints, and P&ID (piping and instrumentation diagrams).
• Competence in using electrical tools, testing instruments, and diagnostic devices (multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers).
• Basic familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and automation systems is desirable.
• Knowledge in lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, grounding practices, and electrical safety protocols.

1. Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed primarily on-site within a manufacturing plant with high noise, dust, and vibration exposure.
• Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in hot or humid environments as needed.
• Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting equipment/parts up to 25–30 kg.
• May be assigned to shift work, weekend duty, or on-call rotation depending on operational needs.
• Requires strict adherence to PPE usage (helmet, gloves, safety boots, arc-flash gear, etc.).

• Can comfortably converse, read, and write in English, Tagalog and Bisaya.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and electrical codes

1. Documentation:

• Computer proficiency in the use of MS office, CMMS or excel-based tracking and maintenance reporting templates;
• Interpret single-line diagrams, control circuit schematics, and wiring layouts;
• Data Presentation and Reporting
• Capable of preparing maintenance reports, work orders, and fault logs.
• Competent in documenting electrical diagrams, wiring modifications, and equipment histories

• High sense of safety awareness, risk assessment, and compliance orientation.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and adaptability under pressure.
• Ability to work independently or within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to undergo continuous training and skills upgrading as required by company or regulatory needs.
• Effective communication for shift turnover and fault reporting.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with production, safety, mechanical maintenance, and electrical maintenance staff.
• Professional conduct under pressure, especially during urgent repairs.
