Job Title: Bookkeeper & Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Remote in Philippines

Reports To: Financial Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper & Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the day-to-day accounting functions, with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records and processing accounts payable transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, be highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping:

  • - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and Cryptio.
  • - Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments.
  • - Reconcile bank, exchanges and card statements monthly.
  • - Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing procedures.
  • - Support financial reporting and audits as required.

Accounts Payable:

  • - Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • - Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies and resolve billing issues.
  • - Ensure proper approvals are obtained for all expenses and payments.
  • - Prepare and execute weekly/monthly payment runs
  • - Maintain vendor files and manage vendor communications.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2+ years of bookkeeping and accounts payable experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks and Cryptio) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in Crypto Industry or Fintech would be highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with automated AP systems or expense management tools.
  • Experience with payroll support.
