Qualifications
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent; Master’s Degree is ideal
- Related Experience – At least 5 years of experience in selling relevant IT products and services
- Experience in working with senior management both internal and external o Must have experience of working in a corporate/business focused environment o Proven track record of successfully pitching for new business
- Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads and account management
- Should have experience in issues management and resolution
- Should have experience in developing effective sales strategies based market research
- Knowledge – Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Has adequate industry/ market knowledge and network.
Job Description
Business Development- Provides intelligent business solutions to discover and explore new business opportunities.
- Analyzes industry trends, strategies/current and future requirements, and financials.
- Prepares territory business plans to identify prospects, opportunities and gaps.
- Examines risk and potential for the business opportunities to recommend a most viable solution and pricing.
- Develops comprehensive business proposals to customers capturing the complete context of requirements and the required/appropriate technical solutions.
- Conducts research in client's business processes to better position closing of deals
- Engages internal stakeholders to employ the best possible route to close the deal.
- Delivers accurate and on time revenue processing and revenue collection efforts.
- Identifies where changes are required, evaluates the impact, and advises stakeholders about the implications and consequences for the business and/or the procurement element of programmes/projects.
- Makes sure that dependencies across Business and Support teams are addressed to deliver client requirements while protecting the Company’s best interest.
- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings and market needs
- Helps in planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
- Responsible for coaching and assisting team members achieve their targets
- Responsible for stepping in for BDD and his/her duties in his/her absence
