The Driver ensures that the unit issued to him is regularly checked and the vehicle is in good running condition. He has to make sure that delivery receipts and invoices are surrendered to the Cashier on duty upon reaching the plant.
Primary Responsibility:- Performs daily vehicle check-up using the provided vehicle checklist upon “Time In” and before “Time Out”
- Validate the exact number of ice products (either block, plastic, etc.) before delivery versus the actual order made by the customer for check in balance purposes.
- As such other tasks as may be assigned by competent Company Officer/s
- Meticulously checks the driving condition of the vehicle and ensure all required emergency tools and other pertinent documents are available, to wit:
tools OR and CR
- Ensures that deliveries are on time
- Performs and execute safety driving measure while on duty
- Monitors and performs periodic vehicle maintenance (e.g. change oil)
- Regularly checks the transmission oil and differential oil
- Safekeeping of all receipts and invoices that is necessary and surrender to the Cashier at the end of every delivery
- Informs Plant OIC any current repairs and if vehicle is road worthy
- Coordinates with Dispatcher regarding schedule of shipment (if there is any) and with Plant OIC so that schedule is reassessed (broken time / straight time/flexi)
- Follow up procurements of spare parts in the event of repairs.
- Observe optimum route to be use in deliveries to avoid delays and meltage
- Strictly follows the duty schedule assigned by the Plant O.I.C
- Suggest and participates in the achieving Company plans and goals
- Represents and promotes positive image of the Company at all times
- Performs other job-related task and responsibilities as assigned by Immediate Supervisor from time to time
- Willing to be trained
- Willing to be assigned anywhere in Panay
