Job Description

As an IT Specialist, you will take ownership of Microsoft 365 tenant administration, endpoint management, cybersecurity efforts, technical support, and systems documentation. You'll collaborate across teams to resolve issues, secure digital assets, and support seamless operations for healthcare services.

The Qualifications We Seek

Required
  • 5+ years in IT support and systems administration
  • 2+ years specifically administering mid-sized Microsoft 365 tenants
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM)
  • Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams
  • Entra ID, SSO, and role-based access controls
  • Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, ZTNS)
  • Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems

Certifications (Required):

  • MS-102 - Microsoft 365 Administrator
  • MD-102 - Endpoint Administrator
Preferred
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Experience with Gmail gateways, phishing protection, and data encryption
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable ticketing platforms
  • Experience with DocuSign and Okta for secure workflows and IAM
  • Knowledge of SIEM tools and cloud security
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.)

Your Daily Tasks

Microsoft 365, Endpoint & Collaboration
  • Administer Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and licensing
  • Configure and manage devices through Microsoft Intune, including:
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM): device enrollment, policy enforcement, remote wipe
  • Mobile Application Management (MAM): app configuration, conditional access, and data protection
  • Provision users and manage access using Entra ID, SSO, and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Provide advanced Level 2-3 support across desktop, mobile, and cloud applications
  • Ensure compliance and governance across collaborative platforms
Network, Infrastructure & Security
  • Manage and troubleshoot routers, switches, VPNs, and Zero Trust Network Security (ZTNS) implementations
  • Monitor infrastructure health across hybrid cloud/on-premise environments and proactively respond to issues
  • Support digital property access provisioning, domain management, and website infrastructure
  • Maintain performance optimization and remote connectivity
Cybersecurity & Email Protection
  • Administer and secure Gmail gateways for anti-phishing, encryption, and spam filtering
  • Perform vulnerability scans, security audits, and assist in incident detection and response
  • Contribute to log analysis, threat monitoring, cookie compliance, and data mapping initiatives
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity leads to enhance protection measures across IT assets
Customer & Staff-Facing Communication
  • Provide clear, courteous support to both internal staff and franchise partners
  • Communicate effectively via phone, email, and remote tools to guide users through technical issues
  • Adjust communication style based on the technical proficiency of the audience
  • Maintain professionalism and empathy in high-pressure service situations
Documentation & Knowledge Management
  • Develop and maintain organized technical documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures
  • Update documentation regularly to reflect changes and upgrades
  • Contribute to internal knowledge base articles and team training content
  • Log troubleshooting steps and resolutions to improve efficiency and future diagnostics
Ticketing, Automation & Collaboration
  • Use Salesforce or comparable ITSM platforms for tracking and resolving technical issues
  • Maintain accurate ticket documentation and participate in ongoing process improvement
  • Collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams to drive solutions
