Project Engineer (Fit-out)

About the role

• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of fit-out projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate progress updates
• Oversee the procurement of materials and the management of site logistics
• Monitor and report on project performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure design constructability and compliance with relevant codes and regulations
• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, ensuring the work is executed efficiently and safely
• Implement and maintain quality control and assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the fit-out or construction industry
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects on time and within budget
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards applicable to the industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using construction management software and tools
