We are looking for a QA Automation Test Engineer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a high degree of independence and ownership. You will be the sole automation expert on the team and will be given the space to shape this role and our approach.If you are passionate about quality assurance, possess strong technical skills in Javascript, Playwright, can do load testing with tools like JMeter and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment, apply now to be part of our dynamic and growing team to drive innovation and excellence!
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop automated test scripts to optimize and automate the testing process, enhancing overall efficiency in design and performance verification testing.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and customer success teams to create comprehensive test programs for the product.
- Perform thorough analysis of test results, taking ownership of critical performance evaluations for feature releases and updates.
- Prioritize and execute test plans and procedures, identifying and managing performance margins effectively.
- Take ownership of approving test results, analysis, and reports, contributing to ongoing enhancements of testing requirements.
Required and Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.
- You have 3+ years of experience in automation testing, with a deep mastery of the Playwright framework.
- You are an expert in JavaScript within a Node.js environment. You don't just write scripts; you write clean, maintainable code.
- VS Code is your primary workspace, and you are comfortable navigating AWS and managing data within MySQL.
- Can do simple to complex load testing of individual features of a web application using JMeter or similar tools (ex. features involving MFA’s, etc.).
- You have hands-on experience troubleshooting and debugging directly within GitHub (or similar version control platforms).
- You thrive in high-velocity environments. You understand how to integrate testing into a fast-paced CI/CD pipeline without becoming a bottleneck.
- You aren't just "familiar" with Scrum; you actively contribute to the sprint process, helping the team move from "in progress" to "done" with high confidence.
- You are equally effective at heads-down, independent problem-solving and high-bandwidth collaboration with developers and product owners.
- You can translate complex technical bugs into actionable insights for the rest of the team.
Nice to have:
- Experience and/or interest in WebRTC
- Prior experience working on projects or accounts within the healthcare industry.
