Job Summary:
Electro-Mechanical Project Manager
We are seeking a high-caliber Electro-Mechanical Project Manager to lead the integration of complex hardware systems from design through commissioning. The ideal candidate lives and breathes critical path analysis and possesses a deep technical understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines.
As a key leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that sophisticated electro-mechanical assemblies are delivered on time, within budget, and to precise technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle, managing the integration of motors, sensors, actuators, and control systems within mechanical enclosures.
- Advanced Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed Gantt charts to track project milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies.
- Technical Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between electrical and mechanical engineering teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure system compatibility.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential bottlenecks in the supply chain or technical development early, implementing contingency plans to keep the critical path on track.
- Budget & Resource Oversight: Manage project financials, ensuring labor and material costs align with the initial project scope and ROI targets.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with external vendors for custom components and provide regular, data-driven progress reports to executive leadership.
Qualifications & Requirement
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.Experience: 5+ years of PM experience specifically in electro-mechanical manufacturing or robotics.
Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Project Management software (MS Project, Primavera, or Smartsheet) with a focus on Gantt chart logic.
Technical Savvy: Ability to read and interpret both electrical schematics and mechanical CAD drawings.
Certification: PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus but not necessarily required
