PPC Job Description Product Project Coordinator (PPC) – Job Description About the Role Project Managers sometimes need hands-on support to keep operations running smoothly. That’s where the Product Project Coordinator (PPC) comes in. PPCs play a vital role in the end-to-end coordination of localization tasks, supporting the Product Globalization Project Managers and ensuring timely and accurate execution of multilingual product launches across all supported languages. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality local experiences for global users, acting as a bridge between the Netflix Globalization team and vendor partners delivering linguistic and localization services. A successful PPC thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrates high attention to detail, and is comfortable managing multiple moving parts simultaneously. From managing UI strings to supporting QA tasks, PPCs are integral to maintaining localization quality at scale. Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Coordinate localization operations in collaboration with Globalization Project Managers
  • Manage communications between project managers and translation vendors for product-related requests
  • Create and track localization projects using Netflix’s proprietary toolset
  • Manually assign tasks to translators and monitor progress
  • Triage vendor queries, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when necessary
  • Respond to and resolve linguist and vendor questions within project timelines
  • Manage UI string content, context gathering, and delivery to ensure accurate localization
  • Support product testing and quality assurance (QA) tasks as part of launch readiness
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support localization efforts across the product life cycle
  • Work on ad-hoc or high-priority projects as needed Requirements – Must Have:
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent tasks and priorities
  • Excellent project coordination and organizational skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to handle high volumes of communication efficiently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Judgement to identify when and what to escalate
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities Preferred Qualifications – Nice to Have:
  • Prior experience in project management or coordination roles
  • Familiarity with localization workflows and the localization product life cycle
  • Experience with handling tasks related to PR Comms & Publicity
  • Experience with Airtable
