Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- Sort, stack, and store clean dishes and kitchen items in designated areas.
- Keep dishwashing stations clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist in cleaning kitchen floors, walls, drains, and food preparation areas.
- Remove garbage and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Report damaged equipment, utensils, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and support tasks as needed.
- Perform opening and closing cleaning duties.
- High school graduate preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service establishment is an advantage.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented.
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
