Quality inspector

Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
• Ensure all materials, workmanship, and construction activities meet project specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests of materials, equipment, and workmanship on site.
• Monitor compliance with quality standards during all phases of construction.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, test results, and quality records.
• Document non-conformance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
• Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality standards and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to company quality policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external quality audits.
• Identify areas for quality improvement and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Participate in lessons learned and contribute to best practices development.
• Promote and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies during quality inspections.

• Bachelor’s Degree in: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Railway Engineering
• Master’s degree is not explicitly required, it may be advantageous for career advancement.
• 4–5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, particularly in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with subcontractor management and overseeing construction or installation projects is crucial.
• Proficiency in quality control procedures and standards.
• Familiarity with project management software.
• Excellent communication skills for regular updates to stakeholders and collaboration with internal teams.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
