The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing various diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on vehicles effectively and efficiently.
About the opportunity- Accurately diagnose vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic tools, equipment, and technical manuals.
- Identifies the root cause of mechanical, electrical, and electronic system issues.
- Performs thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Performs routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements, according to manufacturer specifications.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts, components, and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and air conditioning.
- Documents all work performed, including diagnoses, repairs, and parts used, following company procedures.
- Maintains and cares for all shop tools, equipment, and machinery, ensuring they are in safe and working order.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications- Vocational training certificate in Automotive Technology
- With at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Exposure and Training in electric/hybrid vehicles is a huge advantage
- Proficient in using various diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Experience in a car dealership is an advantage
- Willing to work in Makati City
- Preferably with a valid Driver's License
