About the role
As the Quality Assurance Supervisor at New Flavor House, Inc.', you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our food production facility in Potrero, Malabon. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and ensuring our products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
What you'll be doing- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to identify and mitigate potential quality issues
- Monitor production processes and conduct regular inspections to verify product quality and compliance with industry regulations and internal standards
- Analyse quality data and production records to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with the production team to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
- Train and supervise quality assurance personnel to maintain a high level of competence and attention to detail
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and customers to address quality-related concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality management system
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the food manufacturing or processing industry
- Including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership capacity
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, GMP, HACCP and ISO standards
- Proficiency in interpreting and implementing industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field
- HACCP, FSSC 2200, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is an advantage
