Business Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Test current products and identify deficiencies.
2. Suggest solutions to identified product problems.
3. Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
4. Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent project execution.
5. Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement.
6. Collect quality data.
7. Research on the latest trends or other related fields.
8. Demonstrate the products to the client
9. Implement and Trained Client of the purchased software
10. Support Functional/Software related issues
11. The employee shall maintain a clean work environment.
12. Perform manual and functional testing for WordPress sites and mobile applications.
13. Identify defects, report bugs, and track resolutions.
14. Conduct cross-browser, mobile device, and usability testing.
15. Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
16. Gather requirements from Japanese clients and translate them into test cases.
17. Demonstrate software solutions and provide user training.
18. Support clients with WordPress and mobile app-related issues.
19. Document processes and create test reports.

Required ability and qualification:

• Extensive experience in software development and testing.
• Bachelor’s and or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, business course or related technical discipline
• Has working knowledge about ISO disciplines on QMS 9001 and ISMS 27001
• Prior experience working in a Japanese company is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Japanese business culture, etiquette, and professional practices.
• High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• 5 years experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
• Years of experience with a variety of testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, etc.
• Experience with web security technology
• Experience with software QA tools and processes

• Onsite work at Cebu City
• Basic knowledge of:
• WordPress CMS (themes, plugins, troubleshooting).
• Mobile app testing (iOS/Android, emulators, real devices).
• Cross-browser and responsive testing tools
• Experience working with Japanese clients/companies (preferred).
• Understanding of Japanese business etiquette and communication styles.

Experience in the following a plus:

• Behaviour Driven Development
• Cucumber framework
• Creating Gherkin feature files
• Creating automated test / step definitions
• UI/UX testing
• Basic knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
