Environment Officer (URGENT)

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor environmental programs including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to government agencies as required.
• Serve as the Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and Safety Officer 3 (SO3) or higher, ensuring adherence to DOLE and DENR standards.
• Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
• Coordinate and deliver occupational health and safety training programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Engineer (Environmental, Chemical, or related field).
• With at least 5 years of relevant work experience in environmental, health, and safety regulatory requirements.
• Specialization in Quality Control, Environmental Engineering, including Pollution Control, and Occupational Health and Safety, is preferred. Professional Certifications (Pollution Control Officer Accreditation, Safety Practitioner) are highly desirable.
• Completed occupational health and safety training from a DOLE-accredited provider.
• Officer should be a Safety Officer 3 (SO3) or above and have a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
• An officer should, at a minimum, have appropriate occupational health and safety training from a DOLE-accredited office.
