Branch Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the branch.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor branch budget, expenses, and cash flow.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
• Ensure compliance with local government regulations, tax filings, and company accounting policies.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure proper financial procedures and controls are in place.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Coordinate with head office finance team for consolidated reporting and financial updates.
• Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements, if applicable.
• Provide financial insights to branch management for strategic decision-making.
• Maintain documentation for all financial processes and ensure data security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a branch or retail setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Philippine taxation and financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
