Program Head (BSIT/BSCS) - AMACC Davao

About the role

This full-time position is essential in ensuring the academic excellence and professional development of our students, aligning with the institution's commitment to quality education.

1. Provide strategic leadership and direction for the BSIT and BSCS programs
2. Manage the development, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum to ensure it meets industry standards and student needs
3. Mentor and supervise a team of dedicated faculty members to deliver high-quality instruction
4. Foster collaborative relationships with industry partners to facilitate relevant internships, projects and employment opportunities for students
5. Oversee the administrative and operational aspects of the programs, including budgeting, resource allocation and policy implementation
6. Represent the college and programs at academic and industry events, actively promoting the institution's reputation and visibility
7. Continuously monitor and analyze program performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving innovation

1. Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar academic leadership role within the Information & Communication Technology industry
3. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional methodologies and accreditation requirements for higher education
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with faculty, students and industry stakeholders
5. Demonstrated track record of driving program growth, improving student outcomes and fostering industry partnerships
6. Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities and implement innovative solutions
7. Proficient in the use of technology and data-driven decision making
