Job Description

The Lashes Specialist / Trainer (LLS) is responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining Lay Bare's eyelash services through technical training, service standardization, and innovation. This role conducts training for lash technicians, ensures consistent service quality across branches, researches emerging beauty trends, and develops new lash techniques, products, and service offerings that enhance the customer experience and support business growth.

• Conduct classroom, virtual, and hands-on training for new and existing lash technicians
• Assess, certify, and evaluate technicians based on company standards and technical competency
• Develop, update, and maintain training manuals, learning materials, SOPs, and technical guidelines
• Conduct regular branch visits to audit service quality, technical skills, hygiene, and compliance with company standards
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and refresher training to improve technician performance
• Research the latest trends, techniques, products, tools, and technologies in the eyelash and beauty industry
• Identify opportunities to introduce new lash services, products, treatment enhancements, and customer experience initiatives
• Conduct product testing, service trials, and pilot programs before company-wide implementation
• Evaluate the effectiveness of newly launched services and recommend continuous improvements
• Gather customer feedback, branch observations, and industry insights to support innovation and service enhancement
• Collaborate with the Operations, Marketing, Procurement, and Training teams during the development and launch of new products and services
• Recommend improvements to service procedures, technical standards, and operational workflows
• Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and inventory of lash tools, equipment, and professional products used during training and branch operations
• Prepare training reports, branch assessment reports, innovation proposals, and performance evaluations
• Stay updated with local and international beauty trends, certifications, and best practices to keep Lay Bare competitive in the market
• Support company events, product launches, and promotional activities related to lash services
• Perform other training, research, and development-related tasks as assigned

• Graduate of any Bachelor's Degree; a degree in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, Business, Education, or a related field is an advantage
• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Lash Technician, Lash Trainer, Beauty Trainer, or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of eyelash extension techniques, lash styling, lash lifting, aftercare, and sanitation standards
• Experience in developing training programs, SOPs, or technical manuals is preferred
• Passionate about beauty trends, innovation, and continuous learning
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and service excellence
• Willing to travel for branch visits, training sessions, and field work as needed
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
