- 1 to 3 years of experience in mortgage closing and/or post-closing activities
- Experience using loan origination and/or loan servicing systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide professional and courteous support to internal employees and external vendors
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Assist the Post Closing Team with administrative tasks related to closed loans
- Review daily investor reports and portals to track suspended loans and new conditions, logging suspense notifications and documenting critical dates, including initial condition issuance and cure-by deadlines
- Monitor loan pipelines to ensure shipped loans are conditioned or purchased within required timelines
- Review closed loan files to identify existing suspense items and submit supporting documentation to investors for condition resolution
- Upload, organize, and maintain documents within internal systems while ensuring accurate data entry
- Coordinate with internal departments, external partners, and clients to obtain documentation needed to cure suspense items in a timely manner
- Prepare and distribute Post Consummation Closing Disclosures and refund checks in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Process collateral requests with warehouse providers and notify the Secondary Marketing team when loans become eligible for allocation
- Process pay history requests for aging loans through the Loan Servicing Department
- Develop working knowledge of Agency and Investor guidelines, as well as State and TRID regulations
- Monitor shared inboxes and route emails and requests to the appropriate team members
- Generate reports and summaries as requested by management
- Perform additional administrative duties that support the efficiency and effectiveness of the Post Closing Team
