Elite Havens, Asia’s leading luxury villa rental and management company, is seeking a Finance Controller - Regional (SEA) to lead our regional finance function across Southeast Asia and Japan.
This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role, ideal for an accomplished finance professional who thrives in complex, multi-country environments and is passionate about driving excellence in financial management, compliance, and business performance.
What You’ll Do- Lead and develop a regional finance team of 20+ professionals across SEA and Japan.
- Oversee financial reporting, consolidation, audit, and compliance across multiple markets.
- Partner closely with the General Manager for Finance to provide strategic financial insights that shape growth decisions.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow improvisation with a strong focus on operational efficiency.
- Champion finance transformation, streamlining processes, implementing systems (ERP), and standardising best practices.
- Ensure compliance across diverse SEA and Japan tax jurisdictions and uphold the highest governance standards.
- CPA-qualified, with at least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years in a senior controller or group finance role.
- Proven success managing finance teams across Southeast Asia (SEA experience is essential); Japan exposure is a strong plus.
- Skilled across the full finance spectrum: reporting, tax, audit, consolidation, forecasting, and analysis.
- A confident leader and business partner who can influence at executive level and guide strategic decisions.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Fluent in English and experienced in ERP/accounting systems.
