About the role
Select Goods is seeking a Lobby Ambassador to join our team in a full-time capacity at our Ortigas location in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere that reflects our brand values and commitment to exceptional service.This position is essential to ensuring every guest receives a memorable experience from the moment they enter our establishment.
What you'll be doing- Greet guests upon arrival with warmth, professionalism and a genuine smile, setting the tone for their visit
- Provide accurate information about our facilities, services, dining options and local attractions within Pasig City and Metro Manila
- Manage guest inquiries and concerns with efficiency, escalating complex matters to appropriate team members when necessary
- Maintain the lobby area to ensure it remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures whilst maintaining a smooth flow of operations
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly and professionally
- Monitor lobby activity to ensure security and safety standards are maintained
- Respond to guest feedback and complaints with empathy and a solutions-oriented approach
- Support special events and occasions by providing additional assistance and attention to guests
- Maintain detailed records of guest interactions and preferences to enhance future visits
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests from various backgrounds and cultures
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Professional appearance and impeccable grooming standards that reflect our brand image
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure whilst multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing guest needs and concerns
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (Filipino, Mandarin or other languages) are highly desirable
- Previous experience in hospitality, front office or guest-facing roles is preferred
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
- A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for guests
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel management systems are advantageous
