About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and intelligent Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee and manage the full spectrum of day-to-day finance operations across Bespoke's group of companies. This role will serve as the backbone of our financial reporting and bookkeeping, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-documented financial processes to support both businesses.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal hand-holding.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Invoicing (Bespoke & Savvy)- Post all purchase invoices in XERO for both entities
- Raise and issue all sales invoices, including re-charge invoices, across both accounts
- Ensure all income is properly recorded in the correct financial period
- Set up bank payments for approval by the CEO and/or Finance Director
- Submit monthly payroll data to the external payroll provider; set up and post payroll payments
- Post staff expenses and validate submitted receipts for both companies
- Ensure accurate and timely credit control; follow up on outstanding invoices across both entities
- Prepare and post monthly journals including accruals, prepayments, deferred income, and accrued income
- Deliver monthly management accounts for both Bespoke and Savvy by the 5th working day of each month
- Monitor and maintain clean, audit-ready records
- Collaborate with the Finance Director and CEO to prepare annual budgets for both businesses
- Respond to all requests from external accountants during year-end processes and tax submissions
- Post year-end adjustments and manage the financial close for both companies
- Manage the shared accounts inbox and respond to finance-related queries within 24 hours
- Oversee license billing for customer accounts – ensuring all purchases are recharged and accounted for in the correct month
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role for onshore clients
- Proficiency in XERO is essential
- Strong grasp of UK accounting principles and reporting cycles
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Capable of managing tasks independently across multiple business entities
- Experience supporting UK-based businesses or working with external accountants is an advantage
- A self-starter with high integrity and accountability
- Comfortable supporting more than one entity simultaneously
- Solutions-oriented, reliable, and meticulous with deadlines
- Able to maintain financial clarity across multiple business functions
- Remote, Philippines-based
- Full-time, aligned with UK business hours (some flexibility permitted)
