Overview
Join a remote medical practice as a Medical Receptionist, where you'll play a vital role in providing excellent support to patients and doctors. This role is perfect for someone who is bilingual (English and Mandarin/Cantonese), tech-savvy, and experienced in medical or customer service environments.
Job HighlightsMonthly Rate: Php 68,000-70,000
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time (1-hour unpaid lunch break), with some optional Saturday availability for overtime
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes.
The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities- Answer incoming phone calls and emails from patients
- Schedule appointments and follow up on cancellations/rescheduling
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Download lab results, update electronic medical records, and forward information to doctors
- Triage calls from English and Chinese-speaking (Cantonese/Mandarin) patients
- Provide a positive and professional experience for all patients
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin/Cantonese
- MUST HAVE A WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software/systems
- Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple requests simultaneously
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy protection
