Is currently looking for:

COST CONTROLLER

Salary Range: 14K-18K depends on work experience

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project cost and cost estimates. Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Track and report on project costs, including labor, materials, equipment and subcontractor billing. Identify and analyze variances between budgeted and actual cost.
• Prepare and provide regular reports on project cost status including cost forecast and cost deviations and recommend remedial actions.
• Review and verify subcontractor billing statements and contracts. Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and compliant with contractual terms.
• Oversee and manage material requests, and confirm that they align with the estimated materials allocated for the projects.
• Work closely with the planning engineer, cost estimator and accounting teams to provide financial insights and support on project planning and execution.
• Work with the cost estimator to create and review estimates and budgets across multiple disciplines and practices in the construction. Collaborate closely with the cost estimator to assist with preliminary estimates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferably
• Experience in a similar role in Construction
• Additional certificates or licenses is advantage.
• Sound knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.
• Great leadership and organizational skills.
• Superb project management skills.
• Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• A willingness to learn.
• Good project management skills.
