The responsibilities of the Senior Lease Accountant are:
- Manage lease accounting processes in compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and lease agreements.
- Review shared facility expenses, other landlord charges, and lease-related costs to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
- Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial reports and lease payment records, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct analytical reviews to identify anomalies, potential savings opportunities, and process improvement areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate lease data, resolve discrepancies, and communicate key findings.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and reconciliations.
- Compile and summarize review findings for discussions with the Center of Excellence team, landlords, and stakeholders.
- Stay informed on updates to lease accounting standards and apply them to maintain compliance and efficiency.

A successful Senior Lease Accountant should have/be:
- Holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Skilled in lease abstraction, lease reconciliation, and interpreting real estate terms
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and familiar with common lease management tools such as Lucernex or CoStar.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project setting.
- Communicates effectively with stakeholders across global teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Capable of working independently while contributing effectively in a team
- Open to working during night shift hours
