This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading civil manufacturing business specializing in precast and steel products. You’ll be part of a team focused on delivering accurate, high-quality technical drawings that support essential infrastructure and construction projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Drafter, you will be responsible for producing precise and detailed technical drawings for standard product ranges and custom orders, supporting engineering, production, and project teams.- Create detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar)
- Convert sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions into accurate technical drawings
- Prepare drawings for both standard product ranges and custom design requirements
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and project specifications
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and internal stakeholders to gather design requirements
- Communicate with sales and project teams to clarify technical details and drawing scope
- Participate in project discussions to support design development and modifications
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design intent
- Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and stakeholders
- Maintain organized drawing files, records, and documentation systems
- Develop and maintain standard templates and drawing details
- Support continuous improvement of drafting processes and standards
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Drafter in precast concrete and/or steel products within civil or construction industries
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar)
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret civil and hydraulic drawings
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to design challenges
- Willingness to work Australasian, North American, or UK shift hours
- Willingness to work in or relocate to Angeles City, Pampanga
