Job Summary
Join the dynamic team at MY INN HOTEL GROUP and be part of the first batch of employees for the newly opened hotel in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The Skilled Maintenance Man is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the proper operation of the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and physical assets to provide a safe, comfortable, and functional environment for guests and staff.The role requires hands-on experience in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and air-conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance- Perform routine maintenance and repair works such as painting, drywall repair, carpentry, and minor construction tasks.
- Conduct basic plumbing repairs including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, replacing fixtures, and maintaining water systems.
- Handle basic electrical maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, switches, outlets, and troubleshooting minor electrical issues.
- Inspect guest rooms and hotel facilities to ensure all equipment and fixtures are functioning properly.
- Conduct regular inspection, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair AC-related issues to maintain guest comfort and operational efficiency.
- Monitor the condition of hotel equipment and recommend repairs or replacements when necessary.
- Ensure all maintenance activities follow hotel safety standards and operational procedures.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and immediately address potential hazards or repair concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Request and coordinate necessary materials and spare parts for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Assist other departments during operational needs and emergency situations when necessary.
- High school graduate or vocational graduate in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or related field.
- With experience in hotel, building, or facility maintenance is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and air-conditioning systems.
- Physically fit and capable of performing maintenance and repair work.
- Hardworking, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexible to work shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and emergency repairs when needed.
