Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support daily human resources operations and employee relations initiatives. The ideal candidate has solid experience in onboarding and offboarding processes, employee handbook administration, HR compliance, and handling general employee relations matters.

Candidates with experience in the education industry are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR documentation, and company policies
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of employee handbooks and HR procedures
  • Support employee relations (IR) matters and address employee concerns professionally and confidentially
  • Coordinate recruitment support activities including interview scheduling and candidate communications
  • Ensure HR practices comply with company policies and labor regulations
  • Facilitate orientation sessions and support employee engagement initiatives
  • Handle HR administrative tasks, reporting, and documentation filing
  • Coordinate with managers regarding employee performance, attendance, and disciplinary matters
  • Support benefits administration and HR operations as needed
  • Assist with special HR projects and process improvements
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources or HR Generalist roles
  • Strong understanding of onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations processes
  • Experience creating or maintaining employee handbooks and HR documentation
  • Knowledge of HR policies, labor compliance, and HR best practices
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems/tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background or experience in the education industry is highly beneficial
  • Experience supporting US-based or international teams is an advantage
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and employee management systems
  • Experience in policy implementation and compliance monitoring
