We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with at least 1 year of experience in software testing and exposure to the Life Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of insurance applications through comprehensive manual testing while working closely with business analysts and development teams.

• Review business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Validate Life Insurance business processes, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, and billing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to improve application quality.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to the project team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Manual Software Tester or QA Tester.
• Experience working on Life Insurance applications or projects is required.
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management.
• Experience creating test cases, test plans, and executing manual testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.

• Knowledge of insurance policy administration systems.
• Experience with SQL for basic database validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of API testing is an advantage.
