Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted plant operations. The role supports preventive and corrective maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with company safety standards and the Philippine Electrical Code.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, control panels, lighting systems, and production equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant electrical systems and machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Inspect electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Install and replace electrical components such as circuit breakers, switches, relays, contactors, and control devices.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical panels, wiring, and equipment to prevent unexpected downtime.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to ensure efficient equipment operation.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of work areas and adherence to all Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
• Recommend improvements to electrical systems to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Graduate of Electrical Installation & Maintenance Technology, Industrial Technology (Electrical), or any related vocational/technical course.
• TESDA Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II is preferred.
• Registered Master Electrician (RME) is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial plant.
• Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems.
• Familiar with motor controls, electrical panels, PLCs, sensors, and industrial automation systems is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code and electrical safety practices.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
