Responsible for providing technical expertise, conducting inspection programs, providing technical support to assess plant equipment issues, and implementing new sustainable maintenance work processes to keep operating equipment in optimal condition and to deliver its full design duty.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• Must have 5 years of work experience in maintenance in a hydro power or heavy industry setting.
• Ability to read and understand plant technical documents, including operations and maintenance manuals, technical drawings, schematics, logic diagrams, and safety materials.
• Understanding of power plant operations.
• Well-versed with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Software - SAP ERP or other related computer-based programs to comply with the work execution and reportorial requirements of the department.
• Working knowledge and understanding of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex issues and problems.
• Proficient in technical writing for internal and external reporting.
• Possess confidence in decision-making, negotiation skills, leadership capabilities, and solid oral and written communication skills.
• Applicants must be willing to work on-site.
