Administrative and Safety Officer

Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Administrative and Safety Officer to oversee daily office operations and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards. This role combines administrative coordination with safety management to support smooth operations and a secure working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily administrative operations to ensure smooth workflow and coordination across departments.
- Supervise administrative staff and ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Manage office schedules, appointments, and meetings for management and staff.
- Coordinate office activities, meetings, and employee-related events.
- Handle correspondence, documentation, and filing systems.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and official documents.
- Monitor office supplies and manage inventory and purchasing.
- Maintain office space organization, functionality, and cleanliness.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications in a professional manner.
- Assist in drafting internal policies, guidelines, and SOPs.
- Oversee the day-to-day tasks of security personnel and housekeeping staff.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Safety Officer Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies in line with local laws and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Deliver safety training and awareness programs to employees.
- Monitor workplace hazards and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date safety records and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and safety drills.
- Serve as the main point of contact for health and safety concerns.
- Perform other safety-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Occupational Safety, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in administrative and/or safety officer roles.
- Knowledge of occupational safety regulations and practices.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common administrative tools.
- Safety certifications (e.g., BOSH/COSH) are an advantage.
