Maintenance technician (electronics)

Job Description

• Attends the scheduled briefing and orientation,
• Performs terminal checking prior to dispatch.
• Handles delivery and installation of terminals/printers and consumables with the prescribed cut-off. Executes on-site inspection, repairs, and complex troubleshooting, pull-out, and maintenance of terminals.
• Provides on-call services during weekends and holidays.
• Prepares documentation for services performed.
• Assists merchants with 1st-level troubleshooting.
• Ensures that all Engineering Service Reports (ESRs) are duly accomplished with all the required information.
• Exerts best effort that the quality objectives are met; implements and/or carries out quality improvement activities and functions as a field technician as may be formally and officially defined by the immediate superior or by the executive management.

• Preferably not more than 42 years old.
• Has a motorcycle, updated driver’s license, and ORCR.
• Technical/vocational graduate or any technical-related college degree or undergraduate.
• Computer literate and knowledgeable in basic Windows applications.
• Willing to do fieldwork.
• In terms of religion, ensure that the candidates do not have mandatory masses to attend that will interfere with their job responsibilities.
• Has experience or a background in providing good customer service.
• Possess a pleasant personality.
• Flexibility to work on-call or during nonstandard hours.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Physically healthy; can lift and carry heavy equipment.
• Ensure that candidates’ mobile phones have a good camera and the latest software.
• Willing to be trained.
