What you'll be doing- Recording and processing daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts and payments
- Reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies
- Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Processing payroll information and ensuring accurate timekeeping records
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements
- Filing and organising financial documents in a systematic manner
- Supporting senior accounting staff with ad hoc accounting tasks and projects
- Liaising with external parties such as vendors and clients regarding accounting matters
- Ensuring compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
