What you'll be doing
  1. Recording and processing daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts and payments
  2. Reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies
  3. Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
  4. Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  5. Processing payroll information and ensuring accurate timekeeping records
  6. Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements
  7. Filing and organising financial documents in a systematic manner
  8. Supporting senior accounting staff with ad hoc accounting tasks and projects
  9. Liaising with external parties such as vendors and clients regarding accounting matters
  10. Ensuring compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
